President Obama's speech was inspiring, calming, and overall, just darn good. I hope that our nation can move forward, upward, or whatever. Without sounding too political, we can't go a lot further downward in my opinion.

Wow
Wow is the word to sum up what I am feeling today. If you didn't watch the inauguration today, I am sorry, but you really missed out. If you don't ever watch an inauguration, you are missing out. They are amazing. To think that we as a nation have a relatively seamless transition of power every four years is remarkable.

I agree with you! It was unbelievable! I was in awe and in tears at the power of this new leadership and what it stands for. It was good to watch it with my son and try to explain to him why it was so moving and important on so many, many levels.

I got to see parts of it and then recapped a lot on the news and internet.
What an amazing sight to see ALL THOSE people (a million, I think?!?).
When I was a teenager I thought my generation would never witness anything "cool."
