Poor Olivia

Olivia took a bat to the face tonight. She got in the way of a neighbor boy's swing. Instantly she was bleeding from her mouth and nose. I wasn't home, but when I got home, she was really swelling up. So the paranoid mother and her hubby brought in the injured girl.
Right now, the doctor thinks things are okay. Apparently, you can't tell whether or not a nose is broken until the swelling has gone down. On Monday she will be examined again.
This girl has a swollen nose, mouth, face, can't breathe through her mouth, and seems miserable. When she saw my mom tonight though, she sure perked up!!! Grandmas are the best medicine...I will post an updated picture tomorrow since the doctor said that she will likely look worse.
